Confirmation is a process of spiritual growth and learning for our ‘tweens’ and teenagers. Each youth is paired by the Pastor with a mature, faithful Christian adult, who becomes their mentor. Over the course of two years, youth and mentor walk through a series of conversations and activities that help them understand, and begin to practice more fully, the Christian way of life. Actual lived experience and real-life conversation is the core of this ministry, but mentors and youth gather with the Pastor for service and learning events on regular basis.
Confirmation culminates on the Sunday of Pentecost, when youth affirm their baptism (say “yes” to what God has done for them through the waters of baptism) and are blessed and recognized as fully adult members of the church.
Talk to our Pastor or Church Administrator if you would like your youth to join our confirmation group.
